BUCKET LIST

Creating a bucket list is one of the best ways to make sure that you use your time and resources in order to accomplish and experience what you really want out of life. Have you ever sat down to ponder just what things you would like to accomplish before the lights go out on broadway. Maybe a Language list, an adventure list,,, natural wonders list,,, foods to eat,,, places to go list,,, or how about cars to drive bucket list as that is one of my to of the list favorites. There are several cars that I would like to add to this list, such as driving a Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4, a Bugatti, even a Fiskar Karma among others.  Check out the movie BUCKET LIST with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson…It’s hilarious!

CONCEPT CARZ From conception to production

I have always been facinated with the creative design behind what moves us to buy the cars we own. We all see the final design during production but I find myself always curious to view these cars in their most creative form. Concepts can be used by manufacturers to gauge public opinion of a new model, or even an entire design philosophy. I actually wish they would produce some of the the concept cars as a limited edition version as I believe they will become instant collectors.

How to trust Car Dealer

In this world of slick car dealers and their employees its hard to decide just who to pick and do business with. A reputable dealers ultimate goal should be to acquire a client and keep him for life (or most of it). Relashionship building begins with transparency and honesty. A good dealer should have certain qualities to stand out among wolves, and this leads me to reviews. Google and other search engines are tracking and 1st page ranking based on original customer reviews. Ebay is also a good place to see just how reputable a dealer is. Look at their feedback record. Although no company can please every client you will at least obtain a gauge of what to expect when you pick up the phone or send an email to that dealership. Another point of interest is are they clear with the overall condition of each vehicle. A reputable dealer will have a Free CarFax report on their website. If the vehicle was in an accident they will express that withing the content of the vehicles description. Visit other online review sites such as dealerrater.com, Google reviews, etc are places where you can seek some insight into other people’s prior opinions of the dealer you are working with.

Now let’s talk pricing. A good “Value” does not always translate to cheap pricing. Let’s be real here, if you have been shopping for a car and you find one with the options you want, the color and mileage you have been looking for and the overall condition is just right then it’s ok to bring out a bit more cash for it. Remember it should be all about being fair. Don’t compare the one that had a bad CarFax with another that had a clean one. One’s is worth more than the other another. If you find the car you want, in the condition you want, with all the options you desire you can plan on keeping it for a while then the extra money up front can be saved many times over if the cheaper car ends up with a sketchy repair history. The clean carfax is worth the few extra dollars just for that peace of mind, and trusting your dealer based on their reviews to only deliver quality vehicles can help you narrow down your search too.

SIGALERT…A New Way to Live Traffic!

Ever wondered what the current traffic is for your upcoming commute? Well SIGALERT may be just what you are looking for!

By far this has become one of my favorite sites when it come to staying ahead on traffic info. I was introduced to SIGALERT a few months ago by a friend of mine. He was always needing to wait for the latest traffic update via the radio which was only mentioned every 15 minutes or so, yet it only took in 5 minutes to get to the closest expressway.  Sometimes by the time the radio announced the latest report it was too late and he would get caught up in traffic and late to work or his engagements. Then he found SIGALERT!

SIGALERT is a unique site that shows you local traffic based on live time. You simply find your location, save it and when needed just log in to see how things are looking in live time. I use it first thing every morning to monitor my driving time. If I see it conjested I leave somewhat earlier to my engagement, work etc. Once you know what’s ahead of you it takes off most of the stress of driving in crazy traffic. By the way… there’s an app for that!

Prices on Used Cars are going UP!

Most people are aware that when considering between new or used most saavy consumers consider a preowned vehicle vs new. The reason for this is the hit on depreciation once you drive a new car off the lot. Depending on the make and model the hit can be as high as 50%. Since the downward change in the economy the used car industry had been somewhat stagnant, yet in 2011 things has started changing toward the better for the industry.  The used car industry had a good 2011 and it’s looking to have an even better 2012 based on predictions by industry experts who see strong sales numbers continuing and “strong prices” ongoing in certain segments.  So if your considerering buying a used car in the near future you might want to acquire it sooner before the expected price increase.
